A prominent vocalist from Karnataka Suchetan Rangaswamy had his initial training from his mother Smt R.Suma and further by Vidhushi Smt M.S. Vidhya. He later trained under musicians like Vidwan Dr.R.K.Srikantan, Vidwan P.Unnirkishnan and Smt P. Ramaa.
Suchetan is also a promising veena artist. He learnt veena from none other than Dr Suma Sudhinraand Smt T.Sharada.
A ‘B-High’ grade artist of AIR and Doordarshan, Suchetan Rangaswamy has won several national and state awards. He is the recipient of ‘State Award for the Best Classical Vocalist’ from Sangeetha Nrutya Kala Academy.
He was awarded Carnatica “Mister Voice-2003” a contest where in people from allover south India had taken part. A very versatile person, Suchetan Rangaswamy is acting in tele serials for various channels.
Suchetan has more than 200 radio programs to his credit in the past 13 years. He has had many successful performances of Jugalbandhi with famous Hindustani musicians in front of privileged audience.
Secure the 1st place for more than twice in the contest conducted by Bangalore Gaayana Samaja.
