N.R. Harini & N.R. Sharada
Carnatic Vocal

N.R. Harini is an M.Sc. (Physics) and is the daughter-in-law of ghatam maestro Sangeetha Kalarathna Late Bangalore K. Venkataram. She works as a lecturer in the Dept. of Physics, Govt. Junior College, Basavanagudi, Bangalore.

N.R. Sharada is a B.Sc., with a Diploma in Information Systems from Aptech Computer Education Academy. She presently works as Administrative Manager in The Art of Living Foundationof Guruji Sri Sri Ravishankar.

Initial training under their mother Vidushi Jayalakshmi. Advanced training under violin maestro Ganakala Bhushana Anoor Ramakrishna.

Presently under the tutelage of Sri Anoor Ananthakrishna Sharma.

Both are rank holders in the Senior Grade Music Examinations conducted by the Govt of Karnataka. They are presently B-High graded artistes of AIR, Bangalore & Doordarshan, Bangalore.

First Prize Winners in the Concert competition held at Nagarjuna Sagar in 1998 by South Central Zone Cultural Centre.

Selected as the Best Vocal Duet during the Talent Search Music Competition by the Govt. Of Karnataka for the Mysore Dasara Cultural Programmes in 1998 and performed at the Jaganmohan Palace, Mysore.
